Virtual Chip Exchange is a member-based trading platform. Virtual Chip was a pioneer in the internet space for online trading and has been featured in TIME Magazine, Business Week and Forbes. From its operational offices in Munich, Germany the company manages ia large membership base covering 62 countries. With millions of available inventory under management, VCE is the market leader.
VCE was established in 1997 as a joint venture between Mediagrif Interactive Technologies (TSE: MDF) and HPI AG (FRA: CEW3). In 1999, Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW) took a 49% ownership in the company and helped the firm to establish its worldwide presence as the leader in OEM / EMS excess inventory management. Today VCE is a privately-held corporation no longer affiliated with the above. |
